Introductions
Life process is a
function that is essential for an organism to remain alive and produce new
members of the species. All living things, including plants and animals, perform different life
processes in order to ensure the survival of the species. Plants need nourishment,
a way to excrete waste material, ways to reproduce and create new plants, means
of individual growth, and ways to move and breathe, all of which are accomplished
through seven life processes. Flowering plants undergoes reproducing by
producing seeds, and reproduce from plant parts through, leaves, stem cutting,
underground stem and suckers. Non – flowering plants, on the other hand,
reproduce through spores.
Life cycle of an
animal shows how the young of an animal develop into an adult. Animals
reproduce through giving birth. The young grow in their mother’s womb until
they are born. Animals too reproduce through laying eggs. In this case, the
young hatch from the eggs after a few days or weeks. The life processes of this
category of animals also had been included to show a clearer view of their life
cycle.
